SNCM+V®Special
This special alloy steel originally developed to achieve the optimum balance of wear resistance and torsional strength. This unique material, combined with our expertise in manufacturing, realizes the outstanding quality recognized amongst industry professionals all over the world.
PRECISION

HARDNESS
HRC: 50 to 60Heat treatment is optimized for each product sizes and purposes to achieve the most suitable balance of hardness and resilience. The special heat treatment with excellent reproducibility has been developed through decades of experience and deep knowledge, ensuring the superior performance.
SURFACE TREATMENT
EIGHT TOOL’s original premium hard plating, EL/ARMOUR plating, achieves enhanced abrasion resistance and rust resistance. The plating is developed with hexavalent chromium free plating technology under environmental awareness.
SURFACE TREATMENTS
EIGHT TOOL selectively apply surface treatment that is suitable for each product, including Nickel plating, which increases corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and Black Parkerized finish, which improves rust resistance.

MATERIAL
SNCM+V®Special
To achieve the high quality standard, EIGHT TOOL selectively use the special alloy steel that we originally developed or high-quality alloy steel according to the size of the hex key wrench to be manufactured.
The Standard Series hex key wrenches are classified as “Standard (in comparison with Excellent Series)” products, while the series are designed and manufactured in accordance with EIGHT TOOL quality standards that ensure high-level specifications in terms of materials, heat treatment, and accuracy to meet professional needs.
